After 30 years of working in the HR/Recruiting field I opted for early retirement in 2016. There were several reasons for doing this; one of which was to have the time and space to get back in touch with my artistic beginnings. I needed the opportunity to shift from using the analytical part of my brain to tapping back in to the creative side. The last year and a half has been an exhilarating and freeing experience learning so many new and fun mediums ranging from Hanji, Korean papermaking, to Coptic book binding and organic mixed media art to my latest passion, which is the fluid alchemy of acrylic pouring and alcohol inks. 

Watching images and designs come to life and take on a life of their own is amazing.  Color and motion and energy take shape and inspire me each time.  Creating art is part of my spiritual practice. I continue to understand that amazing things happen when I release control of outcomes and just become immersed in the artistic process. It is serving me well in all aspects of my life today.
