Ileana Miquilena is a contemporary painter who lives and works in Orlando, Florida. Ileana was born in Caracas, Venezuela In 1970. She obtained her academic formation at the Escuela Superior de Artes Escénicas Juana Sujo, at Escuela de Arte Guaraira Repano, and diverse visual arts workshops in Caracas, Venezuela.

Ileana is a human rights activist. Currently also works as a behavior therapist for children diagnosed with autism. Ileana combines abstract shapes and figurative elements in her works using oils, acrylics, or pencils. "For me, art in its different forms is an exaltation and a mirror of the life and is one of the first manifest dexterity of human expression"
