Patricia Cavazos was born in Monterrey, México, and migrated to the USA in 2000. She started her professional career as an architect. In 2013, she moved to Germany and worked in costumes and scenery in the Theater Department at the International School of Düsseldorf. In 2016 returned to the USA. Her inspiration comes from Folk art, ethnic groups, and traditional crafts. She is a multimedia artist and enjoys displaying her ideas on Painting, Mixed Media 3D Art, and Textiles. She has been part of several art exhibitions in the USA and México.

Art is therapy; it allows me to connect with my inner self. I use art to remind myself of the naivety and innocence I used to have as a child; it lets me bring back the joy I had at a younger age and feel that transforming my ideas into something tangible is like magic.

My artwork is playful and colorful; I use multimedia to share surreal abstractions of feelings, impressions, and experiences I had. With my pieces, I hope to create interest, in my art representation and the cultures I have experienced.
