I have been art quilting for 6 years. After pursuing several creative endeavors, I discovered my passion, Art Quilting. The creative exhilaration I felt was transformative; closing my eyes, imagining and designing the project, hand dying the fabric, and quilting it all together fulfilled my artistic expression.

 I fell in love with the young photo of Frida, and the dramatic effect of the black and red colors, depicting a strong woman.

 Each piece I’ve created has come from a personal meaning to me andhasastorytotell. Ibelieve this piece ofart reflects Frida’s as aconfident Artist. I often venture beyond my comfort zone and findI’m challengingmyself asanArtist andaperson.If necessary,I’malwayswillingto startover andhavefoundthistobethegreatestlessonall,learningtobegentleandpatientwithmyselfandto never settle for results that are less than I’d hoped for.
