My name is Susan Harbison. I have resided in Florida for 35 years and am currently living in North Redington Beach. While teaching art for forty years, I continued to be an art maker.

Currently, I endeavor as an artist and at being a docent at the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. My preference is to work in mixed media, as a wide variety of materials (man made and from nature) engage my interest. I apply them (along with acrylic and watercolor) to canvas, paper, and paper mâché. The over arching theme of my art work is excavation and exploring below surfaces such as water, ground, and the human psyche. I have exhibited work at various venues over the years. Currently, I exhibit at The Morean Art Center in S. Petersburg, Florida and The Beach Art Center in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida.
