My name is Maria Jimenez, I was born in Morovis Puerto Rico, but now reside here in Kissimmee Florida. I've been doing Art since I was four years old. My paintings takes inspiration from past abstract and avant-garde masters so that I may put my own colorful twist into how I view people and the world around me. I chose to see people in my own way, for the true colors they give off.

" EL Jardin De Frida" is my way of thanking her for her fearlessness to expand the roles of beauty in art and in her own life. I've adorned her head with a crown of flowers to represent us as artists in the world learning from her hardships and triumphs, thus learning the beauty in imperfections.
