Jenny Ramos was born in Adjuntas, Puero Rico a small town with majestic mountains. She is a free-lance artist that has also been working as an archive assistant for the past 21 years. Since she was a little girl she was fascinated with the arts, which during that time it translated into her hallucination with coloring books and the marvelous crayolas. Her work has been described as visual poems, where she captures sensitivity and beauty through her magical realism style.

Jenny started her art studies with two years in Special Education with concentration in Arts at Catholic University in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Later she decided to move to a larger city, San Juan, where she graduated in 1993 with a BFA with concentration in Drawing from Escuela de Artes Plasticas (School of Fine Arts) considered the best fine arts school in Puerto Rico. 

 From 1992 to 1993 she worked as an archeological illustrator in the Department of Historic Preservation for City of San Juan where her work was published. From 1995 to 1996 she enjoyed teaching art at the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueño (Puertorrican Institute of Culture) where she developed and instructed classes in a prevention program for public housing. From 1994 to 1997 she continued to work as a free-lance artist exhibiting her work in various individual and group exhibitions. 

Twenty-five years ago, she moved to Orlando with her husband and two kids and she continued her artwork as a hobby. Now the moment has come where she is ready again to spread her wings in the arts with her pencil and brushes in hand.
